When people I meet find out that I am a boudoir photographer, they often tell me that they’ve always wanted a boudoir experience, but they wouldn’t dare do it without losing a few pounds or changing something else they don't like about their body.

As a transgender woman, I get it. I very much relate to the feeling of wanting to change your body to meet a physical ideal we feel we need to meet. However, I’ve noticed over the years that photography can go a long way towards improving how we feel about ourselves, and boudoir photography can be especially empowering. Nothing beats the feeling of showing someone that they are beautiful just as they are. I live for those moments and I created Monet Boudoir Photography to make them.
